Google Cloud Platform is a leading public cloud that provides its users to many of the same software, hardware, and networking infrastructure used to power Google services. Businesses, organizations, and individuals can launch servers in minutes, store petabytes of data, and implement global virtual clouds with the Google Cloud Platform. Certified Associate Cloud Engineers have demonstrated the knowledge and skills needed to deploy and operate infrastructure, services, and networks in the Google Cloud.
This individual is able to use Google Cloud Console and the command-line interface to perform common platform-based tasks to maintain one or more deployed solutions that leverage Google-managed or self-managed services on Google Cloud.

The Associate Cloud Engineer exam assesses your ability to:

  • Set up a cloud solution environment
  • Plan and configure a cloud solution
  • Deploy and implement a cloud solution
  • Ensure successful operation of a cloud solution
  • Configure access and security

About this certification exam​

  • Length: Two hours
  • Registration fee: $125 (plus tax where applicable)
  • Languages: English, Japanese, Spanish.
  • Exam format: Multiple choice and multiple select, taken remotely or in person at a test center.
  • Exam Delivery Method:
    1. Take the online-proctored exam from a remote location, review the online testing requirements.
    2. Take the onsite-proctored exam at a testing center.
  • Prerequisites: None
  • Recommended experience: 6 months+ hands-on experience with Google Cloud
